A nonprofit operating in the Philadelphia Area, No Strings Attached Guitars is an IRS approved 501c3 organization. Our focus is on building, repairing, refurbishing, and finishing guitars with a goal to match individuals with a suitable instrument to learn, or continue, to play.

Behind the Guitars

No Strings Attached Guitars was founded by luthier Doug Ellis in 2021. Since our first day in business we have made it our goal to match potential players with guitars. Whether you are just starting without a guitar at all or you have a guitar that needs repair, we will work with you to get playing music. If you happen to have a guitar that you no longer use and would like to donate it, we will be happy to find it a new home. Just send us a note.
